How many of you use salt during your 30 day challenge? I read some saying only sea salt while a few people say eliminate it all together. I'm aware that alot of the food eating on Paleo is not processed thus there's is a definite lack of salt.... (more)

I felt like Texas Roadhouse was one of the more enjoyable restaurant experiences I've had since going gluten free/paleo. I ordered a grilled steak, a baked potato and another baked sweet potato. The waitress was attentive when I explained my dairy... (more)

It's not like finishing a Whole30 perfectly means anything. You don't get special superpowers for doing so. You also don't cure cancer, you don't get a bikini body. At the end of a Whole30, all you've done is eat an extremely restricted diet for... (more)

Been doing pretty well on the 30 day challenge, charting everything I eat. Have had NO grains, hardly any dairy, which has been minimal cheese. I am a very fit guy and carry alot of muscle. Should I just be more patient?? Help

Maybe it's also because you're young. I am too and when I started paleo I definitely did notice some differences, but nothing HUGE and life-changing. I think it's because we don't have, say, 30 years of damage from bad eating to undo. You know how... (more)

I have dropped only 6.5 lb in under 30 days. At first, I was eating too many carbs. As of this past week I have lowered my carbs but I just messed up yesterday because I had about 3/4c broccoli. I forgot to check its carb count! What did you do... (more)

1-2 lbs/week is a great loss rate - you should be proud of what you've done so far! I had similar results the first month or so, scale moving very slowly--the key is to pay attention to things like the way your clothes fit and how you feel. I... (more)
