Eat fat and carbs. Fried plantains or sweet potatoes. Poach fruit in cream. Broil cheese over vegetables. Being in ketosis will work against weight gain.

Just curious if anyone knows why - every time I eat probiotic foods I get a yeast infection. I take a probiotic capsule daily and that's fine but no go on probiotic foods.

Use probiotic foods such as yogurt, cheese, sauerkraut, buttermilk and soy milk in your diet.

Working out fasted is indeed your best bet.  You could also look at doing some CT as well.  Ideal would be to work out fasted while wearing an ice vest as this forces you to burn a lot of fuel quicker.   You could also skip the... (more)

One would have to eat a whole container of 10 oz spinach, have to eat nuts and vegetable oils, and eat massive amount of other types of foods to get the daily mg of Vitamin E? Is it just me that's having a tough time with this?

With thanksgiving coming around I picked up some delicious french whipped cream from Costco. On the label 15g is 45 cals with 2g of sugar the rest being fat.  Been stuffing my face with it.  Seems paleo enough for me!

You're taking thyroxine, which is T4. The body converts T4 to T3, the active thyroid hormone. This conversion can be compromised by a number of things. I would ask the doctor if you can be put on something like desiccated thyroid or a T4/T3 combo. (more)
