Do you have access to a good butcher? Tallow, lard etc are usually available there. Source a good one that practices sustainable farming (grass-fed, pastured), and get all your meat products there.

I think recommendations to gain more weight when you're at a perfectly normal (assuming your body fat levels aren't low) BMI at say 5'7" and 130 lbs are ridiculous. My general advice to any woman with these types hormonal issues is to AVOID VLC.... (more)
