So this is going to be a bit of a long post but I am at my wits end with my skin and I'm not sure what to do now. I'm going to be 30 this year and my skin looks like I'm 13. My self confidence has completely plummeted and I need some advice. I... (more)

To cut a long story short I was on low dose accutane for about a year and have had side effects such as dry scalp (or seb derm) and dry rough facial skin with lots of flaking (possibly seb derm) Anyway after researching for months I have... (more)
What can I do to help to repair my liver and what things can be done for good liver function in general? What should I eat and/or supplement? I have heard milk thistle and dandelion root are good. Thanks!!!
I was on accutane for about a year - low dose 20mg. However I have been left with dry eyes and either dry skin or seborrheic dermatitis. I believe it is the latter. Accutane is a form of vitamin A. I read a few things on Vitamin D... (more)
If anything Accutane appears to ramp up active vitamin D (1,25-dihydroxy) production. I don't think you can draw any conclusions about whether vitamin D treatment will clear Accutane faster than normal.
Was on low dose (20mg) accutane for about year and a bit. Worse decision of my life - caused me seb derm and blood shot eye in one corner of it. Anyways... How can I reverse Accutane (retinoid) overdose? Thanks! (more)

After 6ish years of trying everything and anything to stop my cystic acne, I decided to resort to a very low dose accutane treatment in an attempt to keep my acne at bay while minimizing the common side effects of accutane. I am going to start... (more)

Don't! I was on Accutane when I was 20 (15 years ago). My skin got so dry that when I pulled down my pants dry white skin flakes would flurry. It did really reduce the number of cysts I got on my face, but to this day I still have acne on my face... (more)
