Ultimately, if you want to run around for hours chasing a ball, you will have to eat carbs. But you will find that once adapted you need less carbs than before. Not are how to advise you further since in my experience some of the "wrong" carbs... (more)

I am very active, playing club soccer 4-5 days a week, weight training 3 days a week, and swimming, running, or spinning 5 days a week. I walk most places too. So I'm basically on moving non-stop except for classes. Right now I'm eating 2 large... (more)

When I workout in the afternoon, I eat most of my calories before noon. I do breakfast at 630am, a large snack at 930am and then lunch at 1130. I typically run around 3pm or in the morning before breakfast. I never have any problems with this... (more)

You seem to be on the right track. I generally think 1g/lb is too much (not in a bad way, but just more than you need). The older recommendation is something like 0.7-1g per pound of LEAN body mass. I'm sure your 120g fits right in there. And... (more)

We're not built for a sedentary lifestyle. It's all about how we have evolved, imo. We've evolved as an active animal.
