Cocoa isn't really frowned upon really, just the sugar and additives sometimes added to chocolate. This is easy to get around, just get high quality stuff. I'd try to cut out splenda. Stevia may be better, I don't know for sure but I'd bet on it.... (more)

eat MORE roots/tubers.. the "weight gain" is likely glycogen repletion in your muscles and is a good thing. Either way... scale weight means nothing... if you are doing crossfit style work outs you should eat a shit ton of carbs on work out days... (more)

I love frozen berries. They are low in sugar and taste amazing. Paleo or not, if you like them eat them. 20g per cup, you could eat 2 cups a day and still be LC. And they taste so good with greek yogurt.
