Hi all, I'm not 100 percent paleo probably not close but I try. I'm currently 7 months postpartum and breastfeeding. I started doing "no poo" around May? And than I had about 2-3 weeks where I went back to an organic non-toxic shampoo/conditioner.... (more)

Alopecia is pretty unfortunate and annoying but not hopeless. Also, congrats on baby number 2.You're right, hormones play a huge part in hair loss and stress as well. Stress also messes with your hormones so, it's like a double hit. Plus, it's... (more)

I would add more fat, too. Eat whole eggs—all the good stuff is in the yolk. It also seems like you have a lot of sweets in there, such as the breakfast fruit (doesn't that spike your blood sugar?) and the coconut sugar with your sweet potato. (more)

My daughter started losing hair slowly 2 months after getting the gardisal vaccination. Her initial blood tests came back clean, but I've a gut feel the vaccination and aluminum in it started her hair loss. Can Paleo help with this at all?

Can you tell me what you experienced with alopecia and whether any tests you did led you to the meat-eating pale solution? My daughter does no red meat, but pretty much eats everything else - relatively healthy. Thanks.
