Sorry if if this is too graphic... I have internal hemmorhoids which prevent my bottom from fully closing up. After having a procedure done, the problem was somewhat alleviated by not gone altogether. Being a student, it's rather costly to see a... (more)

Make beef or fish stock/broth from bones. Or crack bones and eat the marrow. Look into gelatin powders. Knox is pure soluble protein, thoug I don't know how it rates as paleo.
Knowing that our primal ancestors had spurts of food and different types of food available depending on seasons and availability, has anyone drastically altered their Paleo diet from time to time and had good results? For instance, eating higher... (more)
I'm starting to suspect caffeine as a catalyst to some of my body's recent quirks. So, does anyone know of a naturally caffeine-free beverage similar to coffee?
Ever considered eating: Fish meal krill meal crab meal lobster meal meal worm meal or for that matter any other 'meal'? I have although I must say I have reservations based on sneaking suspicions that the content of the meal is possibly full of... (more)
Ok, so I've been primal for about 3 months now and it's definitely the best decision I've ever made. I've been reading into going barefoot. However, I live in Chicago so bare feet in freezing temps probably isn't a good idea. Are there any... (more)
Pre-paleo I was a huge fan of chips and pizza. Yesterday, I ate ground, grass-fed beef for the first time and I was absolutely STUNNED by the taste. Literally blown away! Ground grass-fed beef is the best thing I've tasted in my life, and I'm... (more)

Nothing in particular against microwaves. Their effect on nutrients seems negligible, and the non-ionizing radiation is most likely not an issue. But I don't feel right being all paleo-like then heating up my lunch five days a week in a space age... (more)
Smoothies are not paleo, you don't need magic berries from the other side of the planet. Eat a small bit of liver each week - it's the only true superfood.
Hi I have always struggled with a bit of a belly (despite running almost daily) and often suffer from bloating - so I like the idea of the Paleo food diet. One of things that makes life easy is the convenience of bread sliced as a sandwich -... (more)
I've had all of my wisdom teeth pulled out and for the first time in my life am experiencing serious dental discomfort. There is a hole in a single tooth. Is there a natural way to cure and seal a bad tooth?
No. People as little as a hundred years ago lost their teeth early. People of my Grandparents' generation looked forward to having all dentures. Old dental practices were bloody and painful. Go to the dentist.
