Can't say that there is really anything wrong with brown rice. Its very starchy so it should help provide you with carbs for the day and it also is pretty rich in minerals and B-Vitamins. A lot of people in the paleo community avoid it because... (more)

Kefir should not taste yeasty or disgusting. It should have a creamy texture -depending on the proportion of culture added to milk-, it should have a fairly tangy taste and a fulfilling sensation upon ingesting it. Having said that, we shouldn??t... (more)

I've had all of my wisdom teeth pulled out and for the first time in my life am experiencing serious dental discomfort. There is a hole in a single tooth. Is there a natural way to cure and seal a bad tooth?

No. People as little as a hundred years ago lost their teeth early. People of my Grandparents' generation looked forward to having all dentures. Old dental practices were bloody and painful. Go to the dentist.

Rice bran oil is popping up everywhere - is it a thumbs down from the Paleosphere? It is stable at high heat, but I suspect it has the same problems as 'seedy' oils. Avoid at all costs? I submit to the wisdom of the Jedi Masters.

Fats are on a continuum. Rice bran oil is about 33% PUFA, so it's better than something like soybean oil or corn oil but worse than beef tallow or coconut oil.
