You might try some of the Vivobarefoot models as they fit a little differently. Some are much wider than others. Most come with an I sole that gas some cushioning. Merell makes good shoes but they are on the narrow end - comfy for some and not for... (more)

Try Vivo barefoot, should have what you're looking for I've got a pair from leguano and love them but the uppers are generally very thin (mine have wool uppers)

Thanks for all the answers. I actually found out I have a pinched nerve in my foot. Basically I need to chill out for a bit on the sprinting until I can figure out how to fix this.

Start with very short distances. I run in Merrell pace gloves and have gone as far as 3.5 miles in them, but I started by running maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a mile at a time. This should give your feet time to adjust and build up the necessary muscles.... (more)

No joke, I've damaged half (i.e. five out of ten) of my toenails from running trails with my FiveFingers. I've lost three of them, which grew back. And the other two have blood sitting underneath the nail. Anyone else have this happen to them?... (more)
