I noticed I've been going less frequently to the bathroom since I went paleo. Is there anything related?

I second the suggestion for more fat such as coconut or MCT oil. Also, taking a probiotic pill in addition to some fermented foods (which are not daily for me) really seems to help.

I've noticed that I have runners-gut more when I am pushing very hard then on a normal 'relaxed' daily jog. Fasted state in the morning makes it worse for me! Lower fat meals and making sure that about 2hrs have elapsed since my last meal make it... (more)

On the other hand, you just went gluten free. And what you're describing sounds like a person with celiac or non celiac gluten sensitivity who is healing. You might like to poke around over at celiac.com

maybe you got a mild case of food poisoning... think back to any food that could have been contaminated around the time your problem started

I weigh myself on bathroom scales that have a body fat percent function, I have to enter my age, at 33 I am at 18% body fat, if I change my age to 67 it says I am 15% body fat. Obviously these scales are a hoax and are doing nothing more than... (more)

The BMI accounts for age due to inevitable changes in bone density as we get older
