I like the concept but I have to admit that walking around with my co-workers and boss would NOT be pleasurable for me. I would like to get in and get out. I'll walk by myself.

As long as the bone is safe like a knuckle bone and not sharp or too small I think a bone is a good 'teething ring' with great flavour. I'd just monitor the baby while the bone was being chewed.
