I'm looking for some good recipes to make in bulk if anyone has any good ideas? I would appreciate it I try to cook most of the time in bulk so I don't have to cook every night. I try to limit my cooking to 2-3 days a week.

Check out the cookbook "Well Fed." The whole first half is about how to cook up the basics on the weekend, and then mix and match for meals during the week. Great ideas.

This overstates things a bit but I wanted to ask hackers about their views on measuring Vs. weighing. I agree with the average 30lb overweight SAD-eater who just went Paleo is probably better off measuring. Especially if they didn't already... (more)

I think the key for both, that is tape or scale, is to monitor general trends over time. Perhaps use a chart or just remember the values and do the graph in your head. I've fluctuated five or more pounds in a day before--I've not measured... (more)

I'm a 30 years old male 5'7" and currently 135 lbs with about 10% or less body fat, mostly over my abs. I was 195 lbs two years ago (pure fat.) I'm curious if I tried to gain lean mass, how big could I reasonably get eating strict paleo, without... (more)

OK, I feel pretty equipped to answer this; I???m 31 years old, 5???11??? and currently 176.5 but when I started lifting (while always paleo) I was 154. This growth has occurred over 9 months. I have never in my life touched an artificial or... (more)

I was on ABC news this morning and saw something about a pharmaceutical that is supposed to help with cognitive abilities, brain fog, etc... I clicked on the video out of curiosity and "Whammo!" there was Dave Asprey. At first I didn't put it... (more)

Given what I know about Asprey, I'm not surprised. He's been trying out all sorts of nootropics for years. It wouldn't surprise me if what he considers brain fog would be what most of us would call clear thinking, given his penchant for going to... (more)

I'm wondering what the best scientific resources are that relate to the paleo diet. There is a lot of money that big agra risks losing and I feat it won't be long before they go full force on the smear train. I for one would like us to be highly... (more)

Here are a few scientific papers supporting the Paleo diet: A Palaeolithic diet improves glucose tolerance more than a Mediterranean-like diet; Diabetologia; Linderberg et al; 2007... (more)
