Mine went away with paleo, fish oil, magnesium, exercise. High dose vitamin D is shown to be very effective too. Pain killers do not take away the cause - i used ibuprofen for years. but dont need to anymore

Don't sweat it. The cortisol response of worrying about this is probably doing more damage than the extra calories :) 2500 calories doesn't sound unreasonably high. You probably have days where you eat <2000 as well. Unless you find yourself... (more)

I have the Mirena IUD and though it does have hormones, it has a much lower dose than any oral BC and even lower than the nuva ring. Supposedly it has fewer side effects than the copper version. I L-o-v-e it.
