I agree that your body likely needs more time to re-calibrate. That said there are a couple of common misconceptions that I often see, here and elsewhere that may be playing into what you are experiencing. Not sure what pill you were on but this... (more)

I don't know if I should even comment from now on since my herbal experience changed the way I view sickness and disease. I highly recommend seeing a good Chinese herbal doctor. That's the only thing that worked for me. And I can only recommend... (more)

Recently I've noticed a spike in my libido (two months paleo), which is interesting because my nutritionist had told me that the birth control pill lowers your libido; I've been on the pill for over a year, and it has DEFINITELY increased within... (more)

I would be wary of the pill. For some reason, it seems to be every doctor's stock response to any female problem. Weird periods? The Pill! Acne? The Pill! PMS? The Pill! It's like a blanket drug they throw at you instead of finding less... (more)

I've only been doing Paleo for 1 week and on the 6th day my period started! I'm on continuous birth control pills and have never had a breakthrough issue until now...this isn't spotting, it's a full blown period. Has anyone else experienced this? (more)

When a woman takes a birth control pill, the hormones in the birth control pills make a woman's body think she's pregnant, even though she's not, so therefore no egg gets released, and it stays right there in the ovary. Srry i don't know.
