Definitely do try the ghee/butter replacement. I'd recommend following a paleo autoimmune protocol if you're having a lot of problems with it. There's a lot of good books out there on paleo autoimmune protocols if you're not familiar with it.... (more)

Duck eggs are more easily digestible than chicken eggs and haven't been through the history of genetic modification like most all chickens. I say go for it if you have access to duck eggs.

Yes. Steamed cabbage is a guaranteed bloat for me. Don't steam it, cooked the crap out of it in a soup, cut it in half and roast it in the oven, or pickle it like sauerkraut.

Personally I don't do well on low carb but my body is very sensitive to grains/legumes. I bloat immediately. Wonder how many other people do higher carb? And what carbs you have? I eat lots of bananas & sweet potatoes!

Main benefit of fasting - learning that almost all those feelings from the stomach I used to fix by eating actually resolve themselves better without food being dumped in there.

many soft fruits like pears, apples, and peaches are high in fructose which can be bloating. maybe stick to citrus or berries. and if you must do cheese on your eggs, choose a lactose-free one like swiss.
