23andme is great, if you're not in NY.  NYS has idiotic laws and even after the FDA whacked 23andMe for interpreting genetic results, NYS hasn't lifted the ban on 23andMe.  Instead, if you're in NY, you should use Ancestry.com, unless... (more)

Just because you're not visibly sick doesn't mean you're not fighting off an infection. But those numbers aren't severely out of whack. If you don't have a previous blood test, give it 6 months to a year and have another test done to compare. ... (more)

Probably not, but why take the risk of mucking up the tests? It's only for one morning, you'll spend weeks trying to deal with the consequences of a bad blood test.
