So for a long time I had a body odor problem that I couldn't seem to mask with deodorant. Most people would have unpleasant body odor a few hours or a half day after a shower if not for deodorant, but most of them wear deodorant, so most people... (more)

I assume it also smells while you are sweating in the sauna? I know when people eat a lot of garlic (for example) the smell comes out of their pores until the body has rid itself of it completely. It seems reasonable that this could be the case... (more)

Allright so this a weird thing. About two weeks ago I noticed a pungent odor and blamed it on an extended stay at the inlaws. A week later... it's still here. I noticed today that while eating a piece of pork I smelled a similar smell. Problem... (more)

wondering if anyone else has noticed this. I do not use soap or shampoo. I have no scent when not working out, and I think a very healthy manly scent when I sweat heavily, which is still mild. Nothing remotely to compare to my previous workout... (more)

Cotton in summer in a hot humid climate is an absolute nightmare especially for exercise, just gets wet heavy and clammy. I don't wear any cotton at all in summer, it's a recipe for failure. As for the odour problem, I myself find that some of the... (more)

I understand caveman didn't use soap, but is it possible that he did more than just rinse? Using mud for cleaning purposes is one thing that comes to mind. I see animals do it, while others lick themselves. I'd be interested to know more about the... (more)

Not everything that was used/invented post-Paleolithic is a bad thing. My mother in law makes all natural soaps out of animal fats and essential oils. There's nothing wrong with wanting to use soap, just because Grok may not have. He also didn't... (more)

Lemon juice is a great deodorant, the citric acid with it's low pH breaks down the cell membranes of the bacteria and dries up excess oil - (the same goes for vinegar too) although some people can be really sensitive to it (especially after they... (more)
