i cheat every couple of weeks with mcdonald's and taco bell and i find that my bowel movement the next morning is absolutely perfect. however, when i eat paleo my stool is usually loose and foul-smelling.

does anyone know what this could be?

Does your stool tell you your future too?

My grandparents believed in the motive power of indigestible oil. Gallon tins of Nujol everywhere. It wasn't used for cooking.

Perfect is a synonym for optimal. Think of the Big Mac as the optimal excrement moulder. The D9 Cat of grunts. I can almost believe that, but for now I'm OK and I'll hold that thought in reserve for emergency use.

I can assure you that you are a troll. I don't understand what you get out of this, but how is your diet of only grass-fed meat and the two week fast along with the flatus you get from cheating at McDonalds going?

haha I agree with JayJay.

I had an event where we visited family out of town and hadn't eaten for about a day and a half. Ended up eating some fried food after a few brews and had the most massive movement I've had in a while.

Probably just my body saying holy crap, get all this crap out now!

Guess you'd have to define perfect. I don't seeing the body needing to produce endless amount of excrement as being all that perfect. Seems more like a byproduct of fermenting a lot of nasty "shit" in your colon. Could be feeding some interesting critters down there some McD's.

Maybe you need to add a few carbs in if you're eating low carb???

I added 3 tablespoons of boiled plain white rice, and it seems to do the trick!

yes!! i totally know what you mean. i was following strict AI protocol and paleo since august- absolutely zero cheats. i've had diarrhea and cramps every day. on xmas, i decided to have some "crap" food and felt totally fine. had little to no cramps.

You may be sensitive to gluten. This can clear your gut/colon out temporarily, but it'll leave it inflamed the next few days.
