Can you eat gluten and wheat free bread on paleo I have seen a Warbutons loaf and I am wondering if I can have it or not? I have been on Paleo diet for 5 days and have already lost 7.5lbs!

Only if it is paleo bread and even then I would be careful if weightloss is your goal. It is easy to fall back into old habits. Gluten free bread tends to be loaded with starchy grains and calories and carbs.

I have tried several bread recipes over the years, from being on the SCD diet to the Paleo diet, and although my kids will go for gluten free, they want Udi's bread type breads (yes, I do know how bad they are - I read the ingredients!). After... (more)

FWIW, that'd be Perfect Health Diet-friendly, not really paleo-friendly. :-) I've made this recipe before, and it's turned out great. The xanthum gum isn't necessary, but it can help texture. And you can stick to including either-or of the potato... (more)

First, one of the main tenets of paleo-nutrition, to the extent that there is such a thing, is that bread should not be a staple. If you're going to eat bread (or wheat/barley/rye in general), I would prioritize like this: 1) Beer 2) Sprouted... (more)
