Yes, you can be non-constipated, and have effortless daily bowel movements, but with hard, dry stool.I experienced this myself recently, and found that caffeine was causing the problem.

I eat lots of probiotics. I get that I need to keep my fiber up. My question should maybe be rephrased: how are these people not suffering from hemorrhoids and fissures etc?
