I don't know anything specific about water buffalo, but I do know it is a ruminant. If it has been fed it's proper diet (grass?), it should be a pretty awesome food source. I say figure out how they raise the animals, and go for it. If they feed... (more)

Sorry if this has been asked before but I just picked up some buffalo heart (frozen). I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for the best way to cook it? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone perhaps know where to source grass-fed beef in Thailand? Better yet would be water buffalo but it's not too easy to come by.

No batter -- Just fold the wings so that the tip is tucked so that it looks like the chicken wing is 'sitting crosslegged'. Place on a sheet of parchment* in a 400-450 degree oven for about 20-25 minutes, until VERY VERY crisp. In the meantime,... (more)

Have the cattle industry gotten hold of the Great American Buffalo and started feeding them corn as well or are they 100 percent grass fed?

Unfortunately anything you buy in a supermarket is going to be corn finished unless stated otherwise. From an article written in 2001 http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/bison.html#grass: "Consumers in the study showed no preference between grass-fed... (more)

Is it Paleo? Or, do you know a buffalo sauce that is paleo. I think Buffalo sauce is addictive, sometimes I crave buffalo chicken for weeks at a time.

Yes buffalo sauce is Paleo if you consider dairy to be in your diet. Combine 1 part unsalted butter with one part franks red hot. (Aged Cayenne Red Peppers, Distilled Vinegar, Water, Salt, Natural Flavor and Garlic Powder)
