No one truly knows the "window of opportunity" after a workout...you might hear anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours. I personally do similar to your strategy and it works quite well: Finish workout at 6:30am, 7am shake with protein/carbs, 8am... (more)

Try carb back loading and adding some raw milk in there, it's the most anabolic substance outside of steroids. Add it to a post work out shake or something, even if it's not paleo.

Meat, animal fat, eggs, sweet potato, potato, olives/oil, avocados, coconut, nuts (macadamia has the best qualities and highest in calories). Basically high fat and starchy carbs are your best bet on the paleo diet.

I brew a cup of fennel tea and mix in 1tbs ACV + 1tbs Aloe Vera Juice and drink it while I prepare dinner -- I've found it incredibly helpful. I also drink kombucha daily which has had a noticeable effect as well.

I wouldn't eat 1100 calorie surplus if I tended towards endo. You need to rev up your metabolism if you're gonna eat at that huge of a caloric surplus. Maybe if you start doing HIIT and then try the calorie surplus, keeping an eye on your stomach... (more)

This is literally an answer I posted a few days ago but...CALORIES IN vs CALORIES OUT. If you eat more cal than you expend, you will gain weight. Less and you will lose weight. That's all weight loss/gain is. I would say shoot for less protein... (more)

i used to eat sweet potato for starch but got sick of it, my dad recently bought organic brown rice at costco. its quick, easy and convenient, buts it very dry with tuna. what would you recommend adding on to the rice?!

Fructose is at its most damaging when you are in a hyper-caloric state. You will partition much cleaner into muscle and glycogen if you limit fruit and sugar.

can you gain more muscle mass doing say 135 pound dead lift 50 times for multple repetitions, or sets of 30 chest flys? or squating 135 50 times, etc
