it is possible you have a dairy allergy, to the butter. I used to get that same exact problem when i would drink the bulletproof coffee.

I don't find bulletproof coffee to be all that miraculous. It's tasty, though, and if you put a little butter in it's no different really than regular coffee with cream. Put a lot of butter in and then it does seem to quell appetite for a while.... (more)

Using the Whole30 ideology...remove the food for 30 days then bring back in. You have to keep your diet very strict with this to determine that the item removed/added is the actual offender. Good luck!

you haven't tried BP coffee? seriously?! Dude it's absolutely amazing. I hate coffee, the beans are the best beans i've ever tasted, I can drink it black without any bad mold taste, and the clarity you get and performance is unbeatable.
