Supposedly the reason why calcium supplements don't work is that the calcium goes into your arteries and may spark a cardiovascular event, rather than fortifying your bones for those suffering from osteoporosis. I wonder how many other... (more)

I'm not an expert or anything but i'd guess you're bit overboard on the Calcium dosage. Don't forget that, for calcium to be absorbed, you also need Vitamin D. Vitamin K also plays an important role in directing calcium to the right spots. (more)

Again context.....for most I don't recommend calcium supplementation. A guy like you you don't need it. Magnesium maybe a different ballgame.

I think that you need to up your protein and fat intake and reduce your carbs a bit..that is quite a bit of sugar. Ditch the Insure powder and favor of some real food, greek yogurt if you eat dairy..check out some paleo websites..there are tonnes... (more)
