Rice or potatoes… covered with butter or olive oil (literally tablespoons, not teaspoons as you have logged above). Nutrient density is great and all, but calories are king when activity levels are high.

Make sure you're eating ENOUGH calories. It sounds like you're eating too far below your TDEE, which is preventing loss.

Satapa, I'm assuming that you're female although you haven't stated that explicitly. I think sometimes some females do indeed require fewer calories than our male counterparts. That said, one way in which you can tell if you're feeding yourself... (more)

Hallo Kitty, I would second what others said and try to increase your calories intake, and see how it goes. Your body could have responded to your current low calories intake by reducing your BMR, or as you say, going into starvation mode.... (more)

I have heard in the past that when you lose weight, you have to eat less calories to lose more weight or to maintain your new weight. This concept seems a little strange to me. Wouldn't you need to eat more calories to sustain your workouts... (more)
