I would think it would be extremely difficult to gain much muscle if you're only eating 1,000 kcals on days where your muscles are healing and looking to grow. I don't think kcals play as big of a role as keeping protein to 1g per bodyweight (or... (more)

Fat loss wouldn't occur if you're meeting your calorie needs, especially with fat. You need a calorie deficit to lose weight. Anyone trying to tell you otherwise is trying to trick you into buying fad diet books.

I suspect high serum glucose. Test Blood sugar. Without the presence of carbs, coconut oil is a great way to add calories. (and depending on your genetics, could improve your lipid profile). I could not stop losing weight until I added coconut oil. (more)
