Are there any nonpaleo foods you still eat with any kind of regularity? What obvious cheats do you still have in your fridge? For me, it's ranch dressing and mayo, because I like em and I am too lazy to make my own and can't find any store... (more)

Good Scottish Haggis. It does have oats in, but it also has heart, liver and lungs. This morning for my breakfast I had fresh hot venison haggis with neeps and tatties from a stall at the Edinburgh farmers market (not my photo). (more)

It also depends entirely on your own personal paleo prescription. For instance I don't count cheese in moderation to be a "cheat" - I also don't consider white rice to be a "cheat" though I try not to have it every day. However, pinto beans are... (more)

My guess would be that with just coconut water and coconut meat listed as the only ingredients, they would fall apart at first use. Curious how they hold together.

There have been a few threads about cheats and popcorn, but I am curious about the 'best' way to do it. Not so much about alternatives, or the psychology of cheat days. One of my pleasures when going to the movies is popcorn. I know it is bad for... (more)

Popcorn has been so hard to give up. I had some at a movie a while ago, and I did a calorie deficit and followed it with a long walk. Was it optimal? Probably not, but the point is to make overall beneficial changes, not torment ourselves.
