try to always eat the liver together with olive oil or other high fat.

Recently bought some Green Pastures (CLO) Infused Coconut Oil and wasn't expecting the blend to be so fishy. Therefore I can't use it for normal coconut oil purposes unless I want everything to turn out smelling/tasting like cod liver oil. ... (more)

Sounds like you need to mix it into something with loads of flavor, perhaps a fruit smoothie or you could ruin a cup of coffee. I'd probably just eat a spoonful of it and be done with it. Take your medicine approach.

i'm a chiro, never heard of cissus, don't recognize the abbreviation hvbo/clo. if it is deteriorating and not herniated or bulging, you can work through the inflammation, the usual supplements like fish oil, Mg, etc will help. your... (more)

My favorite way is to add the cod liver oil to my bowl of bone-broth stew, which isn't hot enough to damage the CLO. It adds a rich underlying flavor that isn't fishy or liver-ish and as a base flavor my taste buds find it very pleasant.
