Very simple. Keep your coconut milk in the fridge. Heat allows the oil to separate and rise to the top. If it's the canned stuff, once you open it, keep it in the fridge and cover it. I hope it's not some abomination coconut "milk" from that... (more)

One option might be to get something like 23andMe done and figure out where your genes fall, then try to eat according to the heaviest regions that comprise your DNA. Might be false logic, but seems like it would be interesting.

I'd recommend just eating more. Make sure you're getting plenty of fat (very calorie dense) , butter everything up. Get plenty of carbs, sweet potatoes, squash, bananas, most non-berry fruits etc. And just avoid the foods that cause you problems.... (more)

If you use coconut oil, stick to the unrefined, extra-virgin variety. "Deodorized" coconut oil is refined coconut oil, and subject to chemical cleaning and bleaching. If you don't like coconut flavor, your best bet is not to use it. :-) (more)
