I can't have coffee out any more unless I carry along my own coconut milk.  I used to love to treat myself to a cup of coffee every once in a while--cheap fun and always tastes better than my coffee at home.

SOUNDS DELICIOUS! I have some hazelnut oil that I may need to try that with! As far as safety, yeah, you are fine. Walnut oil is good up to about 400 degrees or so. Hot coffee is no problem.

Just look for heavy cream without additives. Read the label. A few at the grocery store have stabilizers and weird stuff, most have carageenan. Trader Joe's and my co-op both have organic heavy cream without additives.
