Who told you low fat was the way to go? IMHO, I tell all my students that bacon is your friend. :) Eat only protein (30%) and fat (70%) for breakfast and that will get you through about 8 hours. Pack some cooked bacon and you are good to go for... (more)

You are not getting enough carbohydrates and probably also salt. The paleo diet eliminates sugar (glucose/fructose) with the emphasis on the fructose. You still need carbs.

I had some similar issues after a year of paleo and found it helped to add some carbs in the form of starchy tubers. I definitely find I run better with more carbs in my diet.
