I'm all about whole food snacks for on the go: boiled eggs, home made jerky, fruits, avocados etc etc. I am also a huge believer that you should consume mostly (if not all) whole foods everyday in order to obtain and maintain your best possible... (more)

I'm curious if there is something that you've found yourself wishing you had to make Paleo decisions or questions or implementation or conversations easier to handle. Makes your Paleo LIFE just a little less of a hassle. I don't want to put in... (more)
A sustainable family farm with an orchard, cows, goats, chickens, badass garden, root cellar, maybe a trout stream nearby, no bills, no need to work outside of the home/farm, low stress.. that would be nice.
To keep food on hand for my sick family member I was thinking of taking cooked bone-in chicken pieces and freezing them in small batches so they could be reheated as needed. Does anyone do this and if so is there any trick to keeping things tasty... (more)
I always use 3 sheets of plastic wraps, indivually wrapping 3 times and then put in a freezer bag squeezing out the air, will prevent freezer burn and keep fresher longer, make each wrapping tight.
I'm on day 11 of the whole 30, and doing great, feeling great, not really craving anything, etc. Then yesterday I was famished on the way home from work, popped in the supermarket near my bus stop and made an awesome vs. dangerous discovery. I... (more)
The canola/safflower/sunflower/frankenstein n-6 oil is way less than optimal, but should you desire to eat sweet potato/parsnip/batata/taro/yucca chips, why not try making them yourself at home? It's really easy, I promise.
Hi all. I started eating paleo three weeks ago and I love it. The biggest benefits are that I have a ton of energy, I'm sleeping well, and my chronic "intestinal distress" has disappeared. I don't feel deprived at all and have no cravings. ... (more)
I hope I'm not alone in having some regular go-to items that, while not 100% paleo to 5 decimal places, are in the spirit of healthy paleo foods. My latest find has been frozen fire roasted peppers and onions from Trader Joes. I dump a cup or so... (more)
