Although I at least in part disown that feeling. Evidently, most sidekicks are not ignorant when it is linked to doing that. Not everyone has the time to spend everyday at the gym or the willpower to follow strict diets requiring your to cut all... (more)

So I absolutely LOVE the scottish buttery shortbread cookies, OMG. However, I want to find a primal recipe that doesn't use almond flour, only coconut flour, any ideas/suggestions?

using only coconut flour? Without almond flour, they would be pretty bad in my opinion. Do you have a nut allergy?

Content link spam? It's absurd that a cookie with "almond meal" and "coconut palm sugar" is considered paleo. That really shows how degenerate the scene has become (or at least all the attempts that try to commercialize it). Really, if... (more)

I need to make cookies (or some sort of dessert, preferably not a pudding-type thing) for a vegan and a paleo who is allergic to nuts. Can it be done? Anyone have any good recipes or a link?

can you use seeds? the girl on the paleomg.com site uses sunflower seed butter in her nut free recipes. i'm sure you could just sub flax eggs for the real eggs she uses. she makes a lot of bars.

We are trying to bake cookies using 100% coconut flour. We want them crispy and so far all previous attempts makes them very soft, or semi-soft with the edges cripsy. It's getting frustrating. We are NOT dairy-free, we can use... (more)

Many here will mention that paleo-ifying bad foods only makes them moderately better. However, we all like to indulge at times. I strongly suggest Elana's Pantry for a cornucopia of recipes both paleo-ified, gluten free, and generally awesome.... (more)

So I started doing the SL 5x5 about a week ago. I really like it. Whether or not it's any good, I don't care at this point. What's odd is that my commitment to doing this has made compliance to paleo relatively easy. (Okay, so it's MY version of... (more)

Almond meal is generally a good deal coarser than blanched almond flour, but I do use (for instance) the Trader Joe's almond meal on occasion because it's less expensive. I have had good results using almond meal in a pinch, but I also bake by... (more)
