am I supposed to have more zinc than copper? I've been supplementing 15 mg zinc without coppes, just assuming I'm getting the copper from my diet, but I don't wanna throw anything off balance and I don't get how they compete with each other? (more)

Zinc will get absorbed when both are eaten together providing no grains are eaten along with your meal as the phytates in grains will block zinc more so than copper. Seafoods and liver are zinc and copper neutral, no need to worry eating those... (more)

We're contemplating getting PEX. My hubby the plastics scientist says that PEX tubing isn't rated for outdoor use, but as long as it stays out of the sun it should be pretty much completely inert and won't leech anything into the water supply. (more)

It's most likely you are low on zinc.. but you may be low in copper too. Copper gets malinged too much if you ask me. You could be deficient in both. I would get this checked out before you start creating a brand new imbalance with zinc/copper.... (more)
