It is very, very difficult to losing only 3kg when you are that close to ideal weight. Don't expect it to come off quickly, or possibly at all. Someone with 30 kg to lose will drop the first 3 kg in nothing flat, but the last 3kg not so much. It's... (more)

In the reading I have done, 1200 calories is not a goal for everyone. You should not go below your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), which is the number of calories you burn doing nothing but breathing and beating your heart all day. Below that... (more)

The USDA has one. https://www.choosemyplate.gov/SuperTracker/default.aspx You can add up a whole day without having to register. Registering lets you keep a running record of many days. (more)

It all sounds fine to me, but most of the science says you'll get better results from your metabolism if you eat 5 times a day. (Three meals and two snacks). Also, it'll help a lot make sure you eat within 30mins of waking.

Not too useful for those on a paleo diet. But useful for those on a SAD diet (the majority of the nation). I have no issues with it.
