If you want to check your calories, you can use either http://fitday.com/ or http://cronometer.com/ Both have free versions that you can plug your food into, and then get stats on calories, nutrients, macronutrient proportions, etc. (more)

I know of a few low carb ways of eating that do not require calorie counting. Weight watchers members do not count calories per se. Their core program counts nothing. The Zone counts blocks not calories. The vegans count nothing I think there... (more)
