I used to have that for years. Stop using soaps and harsh cleansers (even if they aren't shampoo). Get a good co-wash. Its a cleansing conditioner. I use As I Am Coconut Cowash.

Absolutely, try the Baking soda/apple cider vinegar method. you will be pleasantly surprised. Relief is almost instantaneous. (From one who's been there with the itching and crud)

Tea tree oil made a big difference for us. A few drops in your hair at the end of a shower. I'm a no-pooer so i add it to the baking soda. Really worth a. Try!
