All except for the very strictest folks indulge in chocolate, from everything I've read on PaleoHacks and in the blogsophere. The higher the percentage cacao content you can tolerate, the less the sugar, and the less the impact on your blood... (more)

What are your thoughts on Stevia-sweetened chocolate? I tried some today and ended up eating an entire bar (about 360 calories, whoops!). It was delicious...but is it ideal? Is it better to have like 80% dark chocolate with actual sugar in it? Or... (more)

I conclude tha ending up eating an entire bar maybe the drawback of sweeteners. You really cant fool your brain into taping it with artificial sweeteners. I'd far rather have some 85% Lindt dark chocolate, and eating the sugar in it than endig up... (more)

Dark circles = food allergy of some sort. Mine went away within weeks of removing eggs and dairy completely, as I found out I'm intolerant. Cold hands and feet could be thyroid related, or adrenal fatigue. Get thee to a paleo friendly,... (more)

I used to cut chocolate for part of my job (no really) and it is always a bit messy with a knife, you always lose little bits off the edges. I snap the chocolate while it is IN the foil, just feel out the grid lines, and snap the rows off. Once... (more)

I find my urine is generally darker in the mornings due to water loss through the night (from perspiration and breathing i assume). Has your water intake reduced in the past month, that would result in the change you mention. Other than that,... (more)

What amazes me is that dark chocolate is recommended. I really liked a brand with about 76% cocoa content. This still would contain about 23 grams of sugar in a 100gr bar. I'd eat 50 gr to 75 gr most of the time. Considering the amounts I eat,... (more)
