if you have a food processor, you can also make your own with coconut flakes! super cheap, though it takes a while and never seems to reach quite the same smooth consistency as the store-bought coconut butter.

Cut up bananas and freeze solid. Then dump into a food processor (or some blenders work) and blend until it forms a ball. You will swear you are eating soft serve ice cream. You can add chopped nuts..chocolate if you do chocolate. It's amazing. (more)

I lost 40 lbs eating chocolate regularly. Sure didn't stop me! Context is also key, though. Eating dark chocolate kept me from eating larger portions of worse things. YMMV.
