Hi guys, hope someone could "help me" I'm in paleo since 3 years for an IBS and since now it's always been fine. In the last month unluckily I started to feel nauseating after the dinner, only after the dinner. I feel like I just... (more)
Are you eating raw vegetables? I used to have the exact thing happen to me until I started thoroughly cooking all vegetables.
What is the best simple low carb recipe you've ever had? It could be a dessert, snack, breakfast, lunch, dinner meal or you may even have an answer for each category. I want to know what was the most memorable recipe that almost had you into... (more)
Lately I've been noticing that I am not hungry at all during the day. Like at all. I could basically not eat all day and be fine and then I come home at night around 5 and could really eat a lot. I eat a full dinner, berries for dessert, then I... (more)
I just recently started eating paleo. I am a 5'4" 114 pound female. I notice I get this weird rash at night after eating dinner and my night snack. It's right under my chest on my upper abdomen. There are all these little red dots. I noticed the... (more)

I didn't find a thread answering this question yet, so here goes: When do you eat soup (breakfast-lunch-dinner-snack) and is it as a whole meal or just as part of a meal? (The kind of delicious soup you like to eat doesn't really matter to me,... (more)
Has eating in the evening been linked to low quality sleep? Should I eat a large breakfast or lunch and skip dinner? If I take all my calories before noon, will that lead to better sleep at night? Are there other reasons large dinners might not... (more)
Actually, I eat carbs and protein only at dinner and I sleep great. Only breakfast I have is fat.
Going paleo changes your food habits. I really had to go through a big change as I used to rely on potatoes and grains as my primary source of food and feeling full. I can see now that when preparing dinner I have actually worked out a new habit.... (more)
from what I've heard kiefer saying (carb backloadin / carb nite solution) it seems that whilst we are more insulin sensitive in the morning, this includes fat cells as well as the muscle. If you time the carbs for night, and particularly large... (more)
I've been eating paleo-ish for about 18 months. At times I am very hardcore and others I tend to cheat. My goal is to stay on a strict paleo diet for at least 30 days, then reintroduce foods. However, nights are my downfall. I usually eat a... (more)
I've been having the same meals: bun-less burgers, steak, "tacos" (inside lettuce cups), zucchini spaghetti, and stew. It's getting boring. What are your favorite recipe's to spice up the paleo kitchen?
I have been paleo for about 4 months, lost about 50 lbs, big improvements in athletic ability/strength/lean mass/etc. Lately my weight loss has greatly slowed though I have another 30-40 to lose. Not a big deal - I am patient and satisfied with my... (more)
This might seem like a silly question but I was a vegetarian for 18 years and have only recently started paleo. Today I have made steak for the first time in my life and I am wondering if I should keep the steak for breakfast or lunch as I may... (more)
In my experience (not a former vegetarian, though), no. Steak tends to satiate without giving you that "OMG I ate too much" vibe. Disclaimer: I am in a meat CSA and eat steak frequently.
I'm interested in knowing what your thoughts are regarding where the concept of eating three meals a day origionated. I was raised (socialized) to believe eating breakfast, lunch and dinner were completely normal and healthy including the... (more)
I'm new to paleo and really loving it, but still trying to figure out some of the practical aspects. We have a lot of vegetarian friends (who I have no interest in trying to convert, being a former vegetarian myself and knowing how annoying that... (more)

Ive recently come to think that a great deal of the west's dietary woes are due in large part to breakfast. Not whether to eat it or not ala IF, but merely that breakfast has come to equal sugar. Breakfast looks more like dessert. I know the US... (more)
