Hey, Does anyone know of a Paleo doctor in the Baltimore - Annapolis area? I've found many chiropractors but I'm looking for a new general physician. Thanks!

I recently had a physical and my blood pressure is 90/60, which is the cut-off between low-normal and hypotension. I've fainted four times in my life, but that was before I went paleo. I haven't felt faint since I started eating better. Should I... (more)

How is your body temp doing? You could check when getting up during the morning, at noon and before bed, maybe for some days and see that it's not too low. Also, do you have proper salt intake? If you're avoiding junk food and sugar, eating... (more)

Your doctor's chief recommendation will probably be to reduce saturated fat in your diet. Most paleo eaters have some room to do that. e.g., eat leaner meat, don't use quite as much butter, stop eating coconut butter straight out of the jar. You... (more)

I have been dabblin in paleo (80:20) for about 2 years now and finally got strict with it in last 4 months (ie: no gluten, only grass-fed, pasture-raised meat products). Mostly because I've moved to farm land that makes the lifestyle more... (more)

I wouldn't take a multivit. You would have to analyze each vitamin one by one. For example, vitamin E should be natural, not synthetic. It should be in the form of tocopherols, not tocotrienols, and it shouldn't contain just alpha-tocopherol, but... (more)
