I'm 32 and have had glasses since I was a teenager (near-sightedness). One of the reasons I don't wear contacts other than during exercise or social events is because my eyes feel tired and sandy the next day, irrespective of how well I've rested.... (more)

I have the same thing happen when I occasionally wear contacts. It goes away when I wear them consistently (or more obviously, not at all). I think it has to do more with your eyes taking time to get used to the contacts, and if you wear them very... (more)

Do you include liver/offal in your diet? Vitamin A seems to be a big thing wrt eye health. Of course, remember your other fat soluble vitamins in association!
