I usually eat a hard boiled egg in the morning before a workout. I boil a couple in advance so I can have a quick and easy snack i n the morning. It may work for you!

It's simply an internal clock thing for me, I believe. We don't ever set an alarm, but we're usually awake by 4AM. Granted we go to bed earlier than many. The darkness is not an issue for us, neither lack of it when retiring early in the summer,... (more)

Go to sleep at (let's just call it) 11 and wake up at 5:40 if you're waking up "late"? That's not even 7 hours, no wonder you can't wake up an hour before that.

It doesn't matter how much sleep you get.. I think naps are very important! Even 20 minutes of napping in the early afternoon (between 12:00pm-3:00pm) can be greatly beneficial to alertness, mood, and energy. I don't recommend napping more than 90... (more)
