I'm trying to build muscle and get stronger by eating paleo. I'm 5'11 155lb so I'm rather scrawny but my max bench is excellent (240lb), my squat and deadlift numbers are embarrassing though. So I'm turning to the community for tips/advice... (more)

I really do not think egg whites are good at all. If I remember right Loren Cordain recommends limiting eggs to 6 a week for its whites and egg whites are excluded in autoimmune protocols. Hemp protein is probably the best protein powder option... (more)

Ok there are similar but not quite same questions. Does anyone have links to good recipes for egg whites? Particularly dessert-y recipes that are pseudo paleo to the extent sugars are somewhat minimized and processed powders along the lines of... (more)

I peeled an HBE this morning and to my surprise the "white" was all grey! A dark grey at that. I looked at the yolk which was a beautiful creamy yellow, with no green edges. I was kinda freaked out and discarded it. Any idea why this would... (more)

I just had the same issue. I boiled two eggs and noticed one of them had the white turned grey! I only cooked them for about 5 mins, so definitely not overcooked, in which case is the yolk ring that turns grey. My theory is that the egg was close... (more)

I'm curious if any hackers have knowledge of this -- firsthand or otherwise. A student asked me if I knew what might be causing her heartburn. I'm thinking of suggesting she eat whole eggs b/c from the sounds of it, she's probably eating too low... (more)

All the stuff in bold actually answers your question... the rest of the stuff is just extraneous crap you didnt ask for. All the "good fats" and stuff are in the yolks - so it would almost stand to reason that if you're only eating the whites,... (more)
