I bet he was more enlightened about diet than the modern cavemen. That being said, my great grand father thrived on Wonder Bread, liverwurst and whiskey. Perhaps genetics? I better start sourcing some grassfed Wonder Bread.

Considering the egg whites are mostly water and a little bit of protein, and I only needed to use the white (for instance, a recipe) does it matter if it comes from a conventional egg? They are much cheaper, and they make slushies nice and foamy. (more)

i eat my yolks raw and discard the whites......just use the yolk as a dressing to whatever you are eating, if you are worried about germs from your egg source perhaps you should find another!

They are all in the yolk. The whites have no fat at all. But you might not need extra protein from added whites, unless you have a specific reasoning for it.

I don't think there's any uniquely WAPF reasons to avoid egg white (such as avidin), it's just a matter of avoiding protein itself. The avidin is pretty quickly degraded through cooking. People on a hyperlipid/OD 80%+ fat diet might certainly... (more)
