soy-free eggs in Houston?

hi! does anyone have the drop on eggs in the Houston TX area from free-range hens, fed a diet free of soy? While a feed-free diet is ideal, I don't think it is possible in this area to keep your free-range chicken population without supplementing the diet with feed, so I have to manage my expectations. A diet free of soy, GMO ingredients, and grains, in that order of acceptance is what I look for.

i'm asking because I'm getting weary of the $7/dozen price tag I pay from my current supplier.

Thanks!

I'd be interested in presenting a source with a group of folks who would purchase eggs on a suubsription like basis and at a negotiated price.

If you are interested, email me at jdevans3 AT yahoo DOT com. I will update you on the status of this little project if/as it develops, and upon reciept of your email.

Where do you find soy free eggs at all, Trey?  It looks like 350 people checked out your question probably looking for the same answer you are looking for.  Maybe if we ask buy from your source the supply will eventually go up and the price will go down.

yes that is one of the brands i buy. It is $56.50/dozen at WF.

I also at times purchase from Renaissance Chicken at the Urban Harvest Farmers Market in Houston. They are based out of Sealy TX. The eggs go for $7/dozen.

I'm still interested in finding some cost savings here. I eat alot of eggs!
