There's a much higher incidence of injury doing flat sprints vs. hill sprints. On a steep hill you can't really get going that fast, but you're exerting yourself to the same extent. Since the goal is the exertion, not the speed, it's a much better... (more)

I REST, REST is very undervalued. GREAT sleep and rest while in a hard tact weight training program is the best. And if you are over 35- even more rest. Rest builds muscle BACK that was torndown during the workout. Don't cheat yourself or your... (more)

Don't get me wrong, it's a great relief to not be a sweaty mess half the time, like I was before, but now I don't seem to be producing a drop of sweat, even when exercising? Is this something to be concerned about?

Inability to sweat can be a sign of hypothyroidism, but hopefully that is not what your sweatlessness (is that even a word?) is about.

Personally, I think the rower is the best all around machine. It doesn't matter how good of shape I'm in, it always kicks my ass and I can never catch my breath on it.
