same stats here, try doing more cardio and less weights and cut at least one of the snacks. Try eating 1500-1600 calories a day. 1800-1900 is for maintainance. The small amount you burn with HIIT and weights goes for the muscle building and... (more)

best bet is to find a decent crossfit box in town, OR a strength and conditioning gym that does weight/resistance training, that'll be your best bet. Also there's TONS of resources out on the internet for training/meal plans for weight loss.... (more)

This is meant more of a hypothetical question since, in reality, it's not an either/or situation. We know (I assume) that we need both eating right and exercise for a healthy life, and there's constant debates over what's more important. ... (more)

I vote for diet. A good diet is the starting point. Unless one sits in front of a computer or TV all day, even being minimally active.. walking to work or the store or walking at work is probably enough to do the trick. I shoot for 10,000... (more)

I am in my 6th week of Paleo and 6th week of daily 30 min gym sessions (after not having worked out for a year). I am 32, petite, weigh 149 pounds and am 168cm tall. I've gained weight in the last 6 weeks. Whats the problem?
