Ive thought about switching and trying a Paleo diet for a long time now , but I don't know if I can afford it. All the food seems better quality and it seems that itll be impossible to eat enough. Can anyone in a similar situation help?

Here in South OC it's pretty tough to find grass fed beef. I usually only find it in places like Whole Foods, Sprouts, or Costco. It's very expensive and there's not much documentation or anything to ensure me that it's grass fed, grass... (more)

On the note of eggs: I can't find any pastured eggs in the area that are reasonably priced ($5 a dozen, which is WAY out of my price range, considering how many I eat) so I focus on getting eggs from animals that are well treated. I... (more)

I might get blasted for this but I don't see why everyone who has adapted this lifestyle wants it to be so popular. Sure, I see the benefits and I have told my close friends and family who I truly think could benefit from this lifestyle. Also, if... (more)

My husband and I live on a very tight budget and unfortunately grass fed beef (and other meats for that matter) just don't fit in. How much will it affect my health if I stick to the Paleo diet strictly, except for the pasture fed proteins? We... (more)

I personally don't sweat the grass fed business, I can't afford all that either. I buy various roasts and cheap steaks, lots of eggs and frozen veggies, so I eat cheap, and i'm still a ton healthier than if I ate bread and sugar and crap.
