6'1", 180 lbs, super thin and you're doing low carb Intermittent Fasting why exactly? Add carbs , calories and HIIT and don't do IF unless you're trying to cut.

Smelling food is part of the cephalic phase of digestion and will prime the body to receive food by initisting gastric acid release. So no it won't help fasting and it is why you probably feel like eating when you smell delicious food.

Hello! I'm very confused about how to break the three day water fast I'm on. I've heard the more conventional idea that one should have only fruits/juices after a fast, as the digestive system starts to reboot. However, I've also heard that it... (more)

I'd personally have more of an issue with the lack of hydration than the lack of food. If you aren't up in the morning before sunrise, then you need to get a lot of fluid in you between sunset and bed. Can you do anything else for exercise, that... (more)

You may want to alter your IF to deal with this going on -- maybe longer days of fasts aren't for you (this is OK). Just break the fast early. Are you also eating a LC or VLC paleo diet? I'd suggest that your brain isn't keto-adapted. Consider... (more)

When i'm not fasting, I typically do Cardio w/HIIT + weights. While fasting 48 hr +, I'm wondering if its better to just do light cardio (e.g., swimming w/o sprints) or strength training? I'm thinking that my usual workout of both cardio and... (more)
